Siraha: Chairperson of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), Upendra Yadav, has stated that there is no immediate possibility of joining the Samajwadi Morcha (Socialist Front). Speaking during an event marking Sacrifice Day in Lahan, Siraha, Yadav clarified his stance despite ongoing efforts by opposition parties to activate the Socialist Front.

Yadav made the remarks after laying wreaths at the martyr's statue in honor of Ramesh Mahato, the first martyr of the Madhes Movement, during a ceremony organized by the Madhes provincial government. He highlighted the significance of the Madhes Movement in establishing Nepal's federal democratic republican governance system, emphasizing its historical and political importance.

The Madhes province government commemorates Sacrifice Day annually on the 5th of Magh in the Lunar Calendar to honor those who sacrificed their lives during the Madhes Movement. Yadav’s clarification on the Socialist Front comes amidst speculation about political alliances and the reshaping of Nepal's political landscape.
